Join other community members for this FREE informal Auslan Practice Group designed to encourage you to practise the basics of Auslan (Australian Sign Language) in a welcoming group setting.
These sessions are supported by the Ballarat East Neighbourhood House Team. Although we informally collaborate with people within the local deaf community, we are not fluent Auslan professionals and work based on local input and knowledge gained through other trained professionals. The facilitator of this activity is a hearing person. It is not a prerequisite to be attending any of our other Auslan classes to participant in the Community Auslan Practice session. We welcome everyone to this social community group.
