When you think of the effects of gambling, certain things spring to mind. Like financial worries, relationship difficulties and other serious issues. But you might not be aware of the emotional effects of gambling, which many people experience no matter how much or how often they bet. These effects start off small and often build up, causing stress in our lives.
But they don’t have to. Because if you understand what’s causing stress, you can take the pressure off yourself or help a loved one do the same. Come along to this interesting discussion about gambling in your community. Learn about the ways you can reduce Gambling Harm in your Community and find how you can find support, both financial and therapeutic.

The Ballarat East Neighbourhood House Activity Terms and Conditions can be found online. You will be asked to agree to these at the next step of your registration.
The Terms and Conditions include important information such as our Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy and Cancellation and Refund Policy. Please make yourself familiar with these Terms and Conditions before registering for and attending our activities.

The Cancellation and Refund Policies form part of the Activity Terms and Conditions which are available in full online.
Cancellation Policy
Ballarat East Neighbourhood House (BENH) reserves the right to cancel activities if the required minimum number of participants enrolled prior to the activity starting date is not met. A full refund will be given for payments received.
In the case that the activity teacher is unable to attend due to illness or an unexpected change of circumstances, the class may be postponed to a later date or cancelled. If the class is postponed and the rescheduled date does not suit a participant, a refund may be requested.

Fee refunds are not automatic and must be applied for in writing to the Manager.
