In celebration of Neighbour Day 2024, come down for a chat, a bite and meet your fellow neighbours! There will be a range of yummy treats provided, including quiches, sandwiches and cake. For this special occcasion, our friends and neighbours from Chatty Cafe @ Longbeach Place will visit us at the Centre.

About Neighbour Day :

Each year, on the last Sunday in March, the Neighbours Every Day campaign invites everyone to celebrate and connect with their neighbours. Having connected communities for over 20 years, Neighbour Day is Australia’s annual celebration of community, encouraging people to take action and connect with others. The day provides a focus point for celebrating everything we can achieve by living the vision of Neighbours Every Day. 

The theme for 2024 is ‘Create Belonging | Share Belonging’. We can all take actions to create and share belonging: for ourselves, for our families and for our neighbours. We can do this by focusing on genuine inclusion and connection, making others welcome, and by building respectful relationships with those around us.
