Cook Once, Eat Twice : Smart, Nutritious Meals on a Budget

Celebrate Victorian Seniors Festival with flavor, fun, and smart cooking!

As we get older, cooking every day can sometimes feel like a chore, but it doesn’t have to be.

Our "Cook Once, Eat Twice" session will show you how to create versatile, mouth-watering base meals that can easily be transformed into entirely new dishes for the next day, saving you time, energy, and money.

Join us at the Community Centre for a lively and practical cooking demonstration designed to make healthy eating effortless, affordable, and delicious.

An adult pre-exercise screening form will also be asked if you are participating to a health and wellbeing class at the Centre.

    Annual Membership Fee

A compulsory annual membership fee of $5 is required every new financial year. You become a member of CHCC and then will be eligible to elect the Committee of Management at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

    Class/Workshop Enrolment
Participants can choose their preference between individual session or register for a group of sessions. Please note, in case of a workshop registration you are required to enrol for the entire workshop.

    Class Payments
All course fees must be paid when enrolling. Please contact the manager if you have difficulty with payment.

    Refund Policy

We have a strict refund policy.

If you decide to cancel your booking prior the start of the class, refunds will be issued if at least seven days’ notice is given prior to class/workshop commencement date. An administration fee of $20 will be deducted.

Cancellation or changes made by CHCC:

CHCC reserves the right to cancel or make changes for classes with low attendance. You will be advised if it is the case and prior to the commencement date, by phone or email. On these occasions a full class refund will be issued.
