Flower Crochet Workshop

Date: Wednesday 19 October - 2 November

Time: 10.30am - 12.30pm

This is a class for Beginners to those who already have experience, but just wish to explore new or more complex patterns. In this class our lovely tutor, Nicole Kemp will encourage you to conquer the challenges of crochet. After learning the basics, you can move onto a variety of creative flower shapes. Explore the amazing array of flower shapes that can be created with lots of variety to choose from. Nicole will help and guide you to explore these.


There are plenty of hooks and yarns to use in class and projects provided however, you will need to purchase yarn and hooks etc for your individual projects. No need to purchase prior to the first class as Nicole will guide you on requirements.

If you have an ipad or mobile phone, please bring it along fully charged along with your charger, so you can receive patterns and instructions via these.  For those without a device or who prefer, paper versions of instructions are available.

If you have any of the following materials at home already, please bring them along:

  • one size 3.5 or size 4 crochet hook
  • 8 ply yarn - plain, simple quality, no fancy fluffy stuff!
  • scissors
  • blunt sewing or darning needles with large eyes (holes) suitable for wool.
  • Any yarn or equipment you have at home you think would be suitable. We encourage you to use whatever you already have where possible.
