A practical workshop to repair, enhance and creatively mend worn clothing while promoting sustainable practices.
This workshop will build practical sewing and mending skills, increase confidence in creative making and encourage sustainable behaviours and waste reduction. Participants with be required to bring some basic equipment and items to encourage the theme of recycling and repurposing.
Participants are requested to bring along:
- anything that needs mending (could be something with a hole, stain or tear)
- a sewing kit
- fabric scissors
Morning tea provided. **Please let us know if you have any allergies so we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
