Create a festive Christmas door wreath using a recycled wire clothes hanger and strips of fabric scraps. Using the same technique, you can also make smaller wreaths to use as Christmas tree ornaments and gift tags.
This workshop will build practical sewing and mending skills, increase confidence in creative making and encourage sustainable behaviours and waste reduction. Participants with be required to bring some basic equipment and items to encourage the theme of recycling and repurposing.
Participants are requested to bring along:
- wire clothes hanger
- fabric scraps
- a sewing kit
- old ribbon
